The Combat of Tancredi and Clorinda at the Baths of Caracalla 10 to 15 July 2012.
It ‘s the second round with the summer season of opera. The Combat of Tancredi and Clorinda with music by Giorgio Battistelli by Claudio Monteverdi, directed by Mario Martone and direction of Erasmus Gaudiomonte, will be staged July 10 to 15 in the picturesque scenery of the Baths of Caracalla. A show that combines the classical world derived from Monteverdi to contemporary music Battistelli. A proposed construction at 19.00 in the light of day so enjoy it for the first time with a show, the Baths of Caracalla in one of his most evocative moments: the passing of the sunset.

Classical music and wine at Castel Sant’Angelo

musicDuring this season in rome there will be concerts held in front of the beautiful Castel Sant’Angelo. The event is hosted by the Methodist church of Ponte Sant’Angelo.

It runs until the 16th of October every Friday and Saturday at 7 and every Sunday at 9. It includes concerts for solo piano, for duo, trio or quartet with violin, cello, flute, clarinet, harp and of course singers.You will truly be impressed and entranced by the masterful melodies in this intimate environment.
