è ancora in tempo!
– la Maratona partirà alle ore 8:50 da Via dei Fori Imperiali, che sarà anche il traguardo;
parallelamente alla corsa di 42 km si terrà un evento non competitivo aperto a tutti: la ROMAFUN Stracittadina, 5 km di camminata che inizieranno alle 9:10 sempre da Via dei Fori Imperiali (ma con punto di ritrovo in Via Cavour alle ore 8:00) e si concluderanno al Circo Massimo;
– date ultime per la registrazione: 5 marzo per la Maratona (per ulteriori informazioni consultare il sito ufficiale; 21 marzo per la Stracittadina (costo: € 8,00 inclusa la maglietta dell’evento);
– una settimana prima dell’evento sarà allestito il Villaggio della Maratona presso il Palazzo dei Congressi (zona EUR), la vetrina ufficiale della competizione (per ritirare pettorali, ecc.);

March 22, 2015, 8:50 am: runners, walkers, Eternal City’s lovers from all over the world save this date, the day of Rome Marathon 2015.
This traditional sport event, a major one in Italy due to the amount of participants, has come to the 21st edition. As usual, competitors will run for 42 km 195 m along a path which passes across several famous spots in the city center, leading to areas off the beaten tracks of tourists but still enchanting in their own way, to end up exactly where it all began: at via dei Fori Imperiali. Registration deadline expires on March 5. Maximum time to conclude the marathon is 7 hours, while on the ground of previous editions the professional runners’ time is actually estimated around 2 hours (2014 marathon was won by two Ethiopian athlets: Shume Hailu with his 2:09:47, and Ayelu Lemma with her 2:34:49).
Besides the Maratona di Roma, a non-competitive event will take place on the same day: the so called Romafun, “La Stracittadina”, an occasion open to everyone (youngsters, elderly, families with pets) to take together a 5 km walk from via dei Fori Imperiali (starting at 9:10 am) to Circo Massimo. Registration deadline in this case is just on the day before, March 21, upon € 8 fee (which gives right to the official t-shirt).
Don’t miss the chance to visit Rome on occasion of this great event! Yes Hotel will be the perfect accommodation for you in the city center!
